Eco friendly methods of pest control are the use of natural and organic use of pesticides that are non-toxic and environment friendly. It is an effective and popular method of pest extermination.The first step of pest control in an eco-friendly way is identification of the pest and its breeding grounds. Here we have discussed about some organic and eco-friendly natural pesticides:

Microbial bacteria-The microbial bacteria is an effective and environmentally friendly organic pesticide. Bacteria such as Baccillus thuringiensis eat pests. It is non toxic in nature and can destroy pests in a few hours. The bacteria basically paralyze the digestive system of the pests and kills them. Insect Oils-Oils from insects is an excellent eco-friendly pesticide. It is used to kill the eggs and the insects at an immature stage. The insecticidal oils are beneficial in exterminating spiders, psylla, aphids etc. These oils are effective since they spread well and break down quickly.

Diastomaceous earth-It is a product made from fossilized shells of algae.

Pyrethrin-It is a botanical insecticide and an active ingredient and is extremely beneficial in exterminating pests. Pyrethrin contains some compounds which kill pests when they come to its contact. It helps in getting rid of sucking insects.

Insecticidal soaps-Insecticidal soap is eco-friendly and is extremely beneficial in exterminating aphids, earwigs, and whiteflies. These soaps contain salts and fatty acids and pierce through the soft outer shell and cell membrane of the insects. As a result the insects die out of dehydration and starvation.
An excellent homemade remedy which is beneficial for pest extermination is a mixture of one teaspoon of cooking oil and dish soap added to one quart spray bottle.

Predatory birds-There are many birds which naturally prey on pests. A favorable habitat should be made to attract these birds. The main strategies to attract these birds include filling the bird nests with food, planting of bright colored plants etc.

Trap and release method-A very common method of dealing with pests includes the trap and release method. There are a many types of no-kill traps available. They carefully capture an unwanted insect and pest so that it can be relocated in the forest.You can use them as well for pest control in Northern Beaches.

I have never heard natural treatment for pest control. I think it makes sense because we always know the treatment with lots of chemical. Please let me know Pest control Mid North Coast.
